Maths is lots of fun in the senior classroom. We learn lots of tips and tricks to help us learn and remember tables and other Maths facts. We use the school i-pads and laptops to play online Maths games related to the topic of the week and we love to do the Starter of the Day challenges from Transum.org.on the classroom whiteboard. Recently, we were involved in Maths Week and enjoyed Maths TV as well as an online Maths quiz which was entered by schools from all over Ireland. We also entered the Maths Olympiad with some of our class winning certificates. Our teacher loves Maths and is always looking out for ways to include Maths and Numeracy across the curriculum. We love our weekly Maths station activities where we are presented with challenges and games which help us to use our Maths and improve our problem-solving skills.
