May was a very fun and busy month! 'The Space Station' was our Aistear theme and we got to pretend to be astronauts and aliens, listen to the story 'Aliens Love Underpants' and make our own rockets!

We tested out balloon rockets!

We painted aliens and spaceships!

We mixed shaving foam and food dye to try out marbling. We placed circular pieces of card onto the foam and scraped it off to create a marble effect!

We also tried 'upside-down' drawing!!

We guessed what items around the room were magnetic or not!

We worked really hard on our football skills with James Ryan!

We talked about fast and slow music, comparing the songs 'Quick Duck Quack' and 'Slowly Slowly Moves the Snail'. We then watched a cartoon clip without music. We imagined what the music would be like and made up our own music to accompany it!
